Real Madrid have reportedly decided to press ahead with the signing of Porto defender Eder Militao.
The young Brazilian only linked up with Porto during the summer, but the versatile player has already established himself as one of the best defenders in Portugal's top flight.
Porto would like to keep the 20-year-old, but Militao is attracting interest from a number of clubs due to a release clause of £42.5m which is only available in January.
According to AS, that has resulted in Real looking to gain a headstart in negotiations by opting to meet that fee in the near future.
Manchester United and Liverpool are among the other teams who are also said to be admirers of the player.
