According to The Mirror, Sir Alex Ferguson will be given first refusal on the Argentina international, along with Paris Saint-Germain.

Di Maria has scored six goals for Jose Mourinho's side this year, but is viewed as expendable as they look to improve on a largely disappointing La Liga campaign next season.

The winger was signed from Benfica in 2010.
