Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a move to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Camp Nou, as talks over an extension to his deal have failed to materialise.
According to Mundo Deportivo, via the Daily Mail, PSG will step up their interest in signing Dembele if they are made aware that the winger is to turn down a new contract at Barcelona.
Dembele, who has also been linked with Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United, is increasingly unlikely to extend his stay with the Catalan giants as the Frenchman is believed to be demanding an €80m (£67m) package to stay with the club, which Barca are unable to afford.
PSG, however, have the finances to match Dembele's demands and so they are considering entering formal negotiations over a pre-contract agreement for the winger, ahead of a proposed free transfer to the Parc des Princes.
The former Borussia Dortmund star, who is currently in self-isolation after testing positive for coronavirus, has scored 30 goals and provided 23 assists in 126 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions.
