Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are reportedly in advanced negotiations over a fee for Angel di Maria.
The 27-year-old midfielder is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after just one season with the Red Devils, having joined them from Real Madrid last year for a British record fee of £59.7m.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a switch to Ligue 1 giants PSG for some time following a disappointing debut season for United.
According to The Guardian, the French side have offered €40m (£28.5m) to buy Di Maria, which is less than half the fee that United paid for him.
United vice-chairman Ed Woodward is said to be resisting PSG's offer because he wants a higher price.
Di Maria made 20 Premier League starts for United last term, scoring three times.
