Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale, Paulo Dybala 'involved in three-way transfer saga'

Any move for Gareth Bale to Manchester United could reportedly spark a chain of transfers which takes Paul Pogba to Juventus and Paulo Dybala to Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale and Paulo Dybala are all reportedly involved in a three-way transfer circle which could be sparked if Bale joins Manchester United.

Bale is considering his future at Real Madrid following a season in which he was often left out of the starting lineup, although the winger is willing to wait for a new manager to be appointed after Zinedine Zidane's resignation.

United are the frontrunners to sign the former Tottenham Hotspur man should he leave Madrid, and Don Balon reports that Jose Mourinho may be willing offload Pogba if that move materialises.

Pogba and Mourinho are rumoured to have fallen out during the 2017-18 campaign and United may need to sacrifice one of their higher earners to be able to afford to bring Bale to Old Trafford.

The report goes on to say that Juventus are interested in re-signing Pogba, who left to join Manchester United for a then world-record £89m in 2016.

Should Pogba arrive in Turin then that could open the door for Dybala to join Madrid as Bale's replacement, completing the circle of high-profile transfers.

Madrid have been tracking Dybala for a number of years now, and the Argentina international is understood to be interested in a move to the Bernabeu too.
