Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has acknowledged that there was interest in his signature during the summer transfer window.
Pjanic had only spent two years in Turin, but the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea were linked with an approach for the Bosnian ahead of the new campaign.
The 28-year-old eventually opted to remain with the Italian champions, suggesting that he could not justify choosing to move to a different club.
Pjanic told Il Giornale: "There was some interest, it's true, but I had no reason to change club.
"I don't know if Juventus will be my last big club, because transfers don't just depend on the player, but also on the club and who might or might not need you in that role."
Pjanic has remained a key man at Juventus, with 25 starts and three substitute outings coming in all competitions this season.
