Phil Jones will reportedly stay at Manchester United this summer despite interest from Stoke City.
Stoke assistant manager Mark Bowen confirmed earlier today that the Potters are looking at the possibility of signing the 24-year-old before the transfer deadline next Wednesday.
However, The Guardian reports that Jones remains part of manager Jose Mourinho's plans at Old Trafford this season, despite not yet featuring for the club in the new campaign.
The Red Devils are understood to have rejected a number of approaches for the England international already this summer, with Arsenal one of the clubs thought to be monitoring the situation.
However, the report goes on to state that Jones is content to stay at Old Trafford despite his lack of game time so far this season.
Jones joined United in 2011 and has gone on to make almost 150 first-team appearances for the club.
