Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has dismissed the prospect of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving for Manchester United this summer.
The Portuguese forward has been consistently linked with a move back to Old Trafford this summer, four years after the Red Devils sold him for a world-record £80m.
However, Perez has said that Ronaldo will stay with the club and revealed that the player wants to retire with Los Blancos.
"You can be absolutely certain that Cristiano will retire at Real Madrid," Perez is quoted as saying in The Telegraph.
"Ronaldo wants to retire at Real Madrid, and we want him to retire here, just like Zinedine Zidane and so many other great players did."
Ronaldo scored 34 goals for Madrid last season as they eventually finished second to Barcelona in La Liga.
