Barcelona director Mateu Alemany has suggested that Ousmane Dembele is on the brink of committing his future to the Catalan giants.
With his deal having just over six months left to run, Dembele is currently in a position where he can discuss a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January.
The French international is allegedly not short of admirers with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle United having all being linked with a move.
However, Barcelona are seemingly confident of extending the 24-year-old's terms past the end of the current campaign.
Speaking to Movistar, Alemany said: "Ousmane Dembele always told us that he wants to stay here. We're in a key moment - we expect to resolve the situation before the end of the year."
Dembele has made just three starts and four substitute outings this season, the attacker laying on an assist during Saturday's fixture with Elche.
