Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The Red Devils were heavily linked with the France international during the summer of 2022, but it is understood that the club eventually pulled out due to the wages that the 28-year-old was demanding.
The 20-time English champions were again credited with an interest during the recent transfer window amid uncertainty surrounding his future in Turin.
Rabiot penned a new deal with Juventus at the end of June, but it was only a one-year extension, meaning that he will be able to discuss a pre-contract with foreign clubs at the start of 2024.
According to Calciomercato, Man United are 'monitoring the situation', with the Red Devils hoping that they will be able to finally convince the Frenchman to make the move to the Premier League.

Rabiot has again been an important player for Juventus at the start of the 2023-24 campaign, featuring on five occasions in Serie A, scoring once and providing one assist.
In total, the midfielder has featured on 182 occasions for the Old Lady since his arrival on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2019, scoring 18 goals and contributing 13 assists in the process.
Man United were also linked with Rabiot during his time at PSG, with the Red Devils having a long-standing interest in the experienced midfielder.
Rabiot made 227 appearances for the French champions, while he is also a regular for his country, earning 39 caps, and he played in their two most recent games against the Republic of Ireland and Germany.

Man United boosted their midfield department over the summer with the signings of Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat, with the latter arriving on loan from Fiorentina on transfer deadline day.
However, Donny van de Beek is widely expected to be on the move at the start of 2024, and a departure for the Dutchman would open up space in the squad for Rabiot to arrive.
Juventus will be reluctant to let the midfielder leave in the middle of the season, but they again run the risk of losing him on a free transfer next summer.
Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay are also among the senior midfield options at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo, 18, is closing in on a return from a foot injury, meanwhile, and Hannibal Mejbri, 20, has also placed himself firmly in the first-team picture with his impressive performance in Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley.
