Manchester United have reportedly identified West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone as a target ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Red Devils could be in the market for a new stopper this summer if Dean Henderson leaves, with the England international said to be keen to seek regular football next term.
Johnstone's contract with West Brom is due to expire at the end of June, and he is believed to be preparing to leave the Hawthorns in search of a return to the Premier League.
West Ham United, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs to be linked with the 28-year-old, who has kept 13 clean sheets in 31 Championship appearances for the Baggies this term.
However, according to The Sun, Man United are also keen to bring the Englishman back to Old Trafford ahead of next season.
Johnstone previously represented the Red Devils between 2011 and 2018 but never made a first-team appearance for the club, eventually leaving on a permanent basis for West Brom in 2018.
The stopper has made 37 Premier League appearances during his time with the Baggies.
