Manchester United have moved a step closer to signing Barcelona winger Pedro, according to reports.
The Mirror claims that United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has met with Pedro's agent in the USA to discuss a possible move.
Pedro is believed to be keen on a move away from Barcelona, after being frozen out of the first team in favour of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez last season.
He has been touted as an ideal replacement for Angel di Maria, who looks set to exit Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain.
