Report: Manchester United edge closer to signing Pedro

Pedro is reportedly close to becoming a Manchester United player as the club agree to pay £22m.

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Barcelona winger Pedro, according to reports.

Louis van Gaal is reportedly set to lose Angel di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain, but it seems he has acted quickly to replace the Argentine star.

Pedro's future has been the subject of intense speculation this summer as looks for more first-team football, and the Daily Mail claims that United have agreed to meet his buy-out clause of £22m.

The Spaniard has taken his time before agreeing to the move, but it is now understood he is happy to complete the deal.

The 27-year-old scored 13 goals last season.
