Paul Pogba will reportedly need to hand in a transfer request if he wishes to leave Manchester United during the January transfer window.

Manchester United are reportedly in no rush to part ways with Paul Pogba during the January transfer window.

With just over six months remaining on his contract, the midfielder will be able to hold discussions with foreign clubs at the turn of the year.

Such is the 28-year-old's situation that it is realistic to anticipate that United would be open to selling Pogba for a cut-price fee.

However, according to The Mirror, the France international will need to hand in a transfer request to instigate a switch to another club.

The report adds that United expect Pogba to see out the campaign at Old Trafford, rather than any interested team being prepared to pay a fee next month.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are all regarded as potential destinations for the World Cup winner.
