Manchester United have been tipped to sign midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton by the end of next week.
The Reds Devils reportedly saw a £20m bid for the Frenchman rejected by the Saints on Thursday.
Southampton are believed to want in excess of £25m for the 25-year-old.
United are now expected to up their offer and sign Schneiderlin before they embark on their pre-season tour of the USA later this month, according to The Mirror.
Schneiderlin joined Southampton from Strasbourg in 2008 for £1.2m.
