Manchester United 'will not be making any late signings'

Manchester United will not be making any further signings in this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester United will reportedly not be making any further signings in this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils have completed moves for Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire ahead of the start of the 2019-20 Premier League season this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were widely expected to sign a central midfielder, though, in addition to a centre-forward with Romelu Lukaku on the verge of joining Inter Milan.

Juventus's Mario Mandzukic and Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes are two of the players to be strongly linked with switches to Old Trafford in the latter stages of the transfer window.

However, according to Sky Sports News, after pulling out of a deal for experienced attacker Mandzukic, the Red Devils have now ended their transfer business ahead of the new season.

The 20-time English champions, who will be looking to return to the top four in the coming campaign, will welcome Frank Lampard's Chelsea to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
