Manchester United are reportedly planning to activate a one-year extension in Aaron Wan-Bissaka's contract at Old Trafford, which will take him until the summer of 2025.
The 25-year-old's future with the Red Devils was the subject of much speculation last year, and it had been thought that he would move on in January due to his lack of action in the first half of the 2022-23 season.
An injury that Diogo Dalot suffered at the 2022 World Cup opened the door for Wan-Bissaka to enjoy a run in the side, though, and he ended last term with 34 appearances in all competitions, having managed to earn the trust of head coach Erik ten Hag.
Man United had allegedly initially been planning to sign a new right-back over the summer, but Wan-Bissaka's form saw the club change their plans, with Dalot also signing a new contract.
Wan-Bissaka started the campaign as the first-choice right-back, but he has been missing since the middle of September due to a hamstring problem.

As it stands, the ex-Crystal Palace youngster's deal at Old Trafford will expire next June, but there is an option to extend the deal for a further 12 months.
According to ESPN, Man United are preparing to trigger the extension, taking him until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
However, the report claims that the 20-time English champions want to open discussions over a longer-term deal at some stage, with Wan-Bissaka now seen as an important part of the club's plans moving forward.
Man United have not set a timeframe when it comes to a return to fitness for the defender, but there have been suggestions that he will be back at some stage in November.

The Red Devils will end October with games against Sheffield United, Copenhagen and Manchester City before taking on Newcastle United in the EFL Cup at the start of November.
Wan-Bissaka's form for Palace during the 2018-19 campaign convinced Man United to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer of 2019.
The right-back was a vital player for the Red Devils in his first two seasons at the club but lost his starting role to Dalot when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as head coach in late 2021.
Man United are also allegedly preparing to activate a one-year extension in Victor Lindelof's deal, with the Sweden international in the same position as Wan-Bissaka when it comes to his contract.
Lindelof has benefited from the injuries at the back this season to feature on a regular basis in the opening two months of 2023-24.
