Manchester United have reportedly decided to loan out Timothy Fosu-Mensah for the upcoming campaign.
Fosu-Mensah spent last season at fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, with the defender making a total of 21 appearances in the top flight.
The Dutchman had been keen to try to make an impact at Old Trafford, but according to Sky Germany, Jose Mourinho will send the player out to Hertha Berlin.
United are still looking to add to their defence before the end of the transfer window, but it appears that Fosu-Mensah does not feature in the Portuguese's immediate plans.
Hertha finished in 11th place in the Bundesliga standings last season.
