Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have both reportedly failed with offers for Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic during the January transfer window.
The Serbia international struggled for minutes in the early stages of the campaign with the likes of Scott McTominay, Fred and Paul Pogba all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Matic had been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford but is now unlikely to be allowed to leave, with McTominay and Pogba both facing extended periods on the sidelines.
According to the Daily Record, Atletico and Inter have approached United with offers for the experienced midfielder this month, but the 20-time English champions turned down both bids.
Matic has only made 11 appearances for United this season but has started their last two Premier League matches against Burnley and Arsenal.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will be looking to return to winning ways when they welcome basement side Norwich City to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
