Roma forward Paulo Dybala says that he is concentrating on finishing the season strongly amid transfer links with Manchester United.

Paulo Dybala has said that his immediate focus is on helping Roma enjoy a successful end to the 2022-23 campaign amid the recent speculation surrounding his future.

The Argentina international moved to Roma on a free transfer last summer following his exit from Juventus.

The 29-year-old has been in strong form for Jose Mourinho's side during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 12 goals and registering seven assists in 25 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester United continue to be heavily linked with the forward, and it is believed that the Red Devils are lining up an offer during this summer's transfer window.

There is said to be a release clause in Dybala's current deal, although there are conflicting reports when it comes to the exact amount of the alleged buy-out fee.

There was thought to be a €12m (£10.7m) clause valid to teams outside of Italy, but Sky Italia have claimed that the buy-out fee is actually €20m (£17.8m).

Dybala has said that the talk surrounding his future can wait, with the South American only currently interested in on-the-field matters.

"Surely, we'll talk about this later on. My future is here, I want to bring Roma as high as possible and I think we can do it. I don't know what will happen in the future. The next games are the most important things," he told Marca when asked about the recent speculation.

"It's great to help the team. We are in a good situation, fighting for a Champions League placement. It's not easy because there are many top clubs. We are confident about Europa League, but it won't be easy either. Hopefully, I can help the team win more games."

Mourinho's side will take on Real Sociedad over two legs for a spot in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Meanwhile, the Rome giants are currently fourth in the Serie A table, level on points with fifth-placed AC Milan and only one point behind Lazio in third.

Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in Dybala, with Diego Simeone's side potentially looking for replacements for Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix this summer.

Dybala represented Juventus between 2015 and 2022, scoring 115 goals and registering 48 assists in 293 appearances for the club, winning five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia crowns and three Italian Super Cups.

The forward was unable to come to an agreement with the Turin giants over a new deal, though, which saw him depart on a free transfer after seven years of service.

Man United are expected to sign at least one new forward this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Napoli's Victor Osimhen believed to be their leading targets.
