Manchester United 'eye Tottenham Hotspur duo Lucas Moura, Eric Dier'

Unsettled Tottenham Hotspur duo Lucas Moura and Eric Dier are transfer targets for Manchester United, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur duo Lucas Moura and Eric Dier are reportedly transfer targets for Manchester United.

Lucas only signed a new five-year contract with Spurs in July after contributing 15 goals in 49 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Brazil international has only played nine minutes of Premier League football in Tottenham's last three matches, though, with Pochettino preferring other options in the final third.

Dier, meanwhile, is yet to play a single minute for the London club in the early stages of the 2019-20 season.

According to the Daily Star, United have placed Lucas high on their priority list when it comes to new signings, while the 20-time English champions are also eyeing a swoop for defensive midfielder Dier.

The Red Devils are short of options in the final third following the summer departures of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, while central midfield has also been a problem in the early stages of the new campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will be looking to return to the top four in the Premier League table when they travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
