Manchester United have reportedly been in contact with Leeds United to discuss a possible deal for Raphinha during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old joined the Whites from Rennes last summer and has been in impressive form during the 2020-21 Premier League season, scoring five times and contributing five assists in 21 appearances.
Both Man United and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the Brazilian, who has a contract at Elland Road until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
According to UOL Esporte, Man United have now launched an official enquiry for Raphinha as they want to know how much it would take to bring the South American to Old Trafford.
The report also claims that the attacker has a close friendship with Man United's Bruno Fernandes, having played alongside the Portugal international at Sporting Lisbon.
Raphinha recently said that he is "really happy" with Marcelo Bielsa's side amid the speculation surrounding his future.
