Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Angel di Maria for £59.7m.
Speculation intensified over the weekend regarding United's pursuit of the Argentina international, with Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti having confirmed during a press conference yesterday that Di Maria had decided to leave Los Blancos.
It appeared that the move was nearing a conclusion earlier this evening when the 26-year-old was pictured driving into United's training ground with his representatives.
Now, according to numerous reports, United have agreed to pay their Spanish counterparts what will amount to a British-record fee, surpassing the £50m that Chelsea parted with to sign Fernando Torres in January 2011.
It is expected that United will confirm Di Maria's arrival at some stage tomorrow.
