Manchester City and Manchester United are to lock horns for the signature of Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder, according to reports.
Sir Alex Ferguson was linked with a move for the Dutchman last summer and is believed to have renewed his interest in bringing him to Old Trafford.
According to The Metro, City have emerged as rivals to land the 27-year-old, who is likely to leave the San Siro this summer.
It has been reported that any deal forthcoming will likely be done after the upcoming Euro 2012 championships.
Sneijder, who has 83 caps for the Netherlands, joined the Nerazzurri from Real Madrid in 2009.
