Reports suggest that Liverpool are looking to bring Thomas Ince back to Anfield after he was allowed to join Blackpool 18 months ago.

Liverpool are planning a move to bring Blackpool winger Thomas Ince back to Anfield, reports suggest.

The 20-year-old was allowed to leave Liverpool 18 months ago for just £250,000 as it was thought he was not progressing.

However, since the move, Ince has flourished at Bloomfield Road, putting in a series of impressive performances which have seen him linked with a move to the Premier League.

Now, the Merseyside club have realised their mistake in letting Ince leave the club and hope to tie up a £6m deal for the England Under-21 international, according to The Mirror.

It is thought that Brendan Rodgers will face stiff competition from Southampton and rivals Manchester United for Ince's signature.
