Leicester City are reportedly ready to do battle with Manchester United for the signature of Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.
The 23-year-old has been persistently linked with a move to the Red Devils in recent weeks, while Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest.
Dembele registered 16 goals in Ligue 1 before the season was curtailed amid the coronavirus pandemic, and it has been suggested that Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on a reunion with the player he worked with at Celtic.
Indeed, France Football reports that the Foxes are keeping a close eye on developments surrounding Dembele's future, but Leicester may not have the financial capabilities to strike a deal for the forward.
Lyon are expected to hold out for a fee of £60m even in the current economic climate, and Dembele himself allegedly favours a move to Man United this summer.
The Frenchman's current deal with Lyon is set to expire at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
