Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez has reportedly turned down the chance to join Manchester United.
The Red Devils are expected to move for a new striker during this summer's transfer window, and a recent report claimed that they were in the race for Martinez.
According to Sport, the 20-time English champions made it clear that they were prepared to pay the €111m (£97.2m) release clause in the Argentine's current deal at San Siro.
United are said to have made a 'thrust' to sign the 22-year-old, but the report from Spain claims that Martinez declined the offer as he has his heart set on a move to Barcelona.
Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in a player who has scored 16 times in 31 appearances for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign.
Barca are still thought to be the favourites, although it is understood that the Catalan giants are struggling to come to an agreement with Inter as they cannot afford to pay the striker's release clause in a straight cash deal.
