Kalvin Phillips is reportedly set to snub a potential transfer to Manchester United in a bid to play for Liverpool instead.
The England international was a focal point for both club and country last season in the Premier League and Euro 2020, which has attracted several teams to him.
According to SunSport, Phillips is set to reject any possible transfer to join Manchester United due to his loyalty to the fans at Leeds United, as he does not want to upset them.
The midfielder is apparently of the belief that fans would be less upset if he were to leave in order to sign for Jurgen Klopp's club, which is his preference.
Since he joined Leeds United, Phillips has made over 226 appearances, being a frequent name in the starting lineup for the West Yorkshire-based team.
The Whites are currently just six points above the relegation zone at the moment, sitting in 15th place after winning just three games.
