Juventus have allegedly entered the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil, and will reportedly do battle with Manchester United for the German's signature.
Ozil, who is in the final year of his Gunners contract, has been linked with Manchester United in recent weeks, but the Italian giants are the latest club believed to be keen on his services.
Corriere dello Sport says that while United are currently in pole position to sign Ozil, Juventus will attempt to strike a deal with the 28-year-old, should Jose Mourinho's side fail to do so first.
The source also says that while United will be looking to secure a deal in January, Juventus are prepared to wait until the end of the season to make their move.
Ozil is joined by Arsenal teammate Alexis Sanchez in entering the final months of his current deal at the Emirates Stadium.
