Hull City boss Steve Bruce has reportedly targeted a loan move for Manchester United defender Paddy McNair.
The Tigers are in need of defensive reinforcements after James Chester left the club to join West Bromwich Albion in an £8m deal.
Bruce has approached the Red Devils about the prospect of taking McNair on loan until the end of the season, but Louis van Gaal is unsure over his plans for the 20-year-old for the new campaign, reports The People.
The 20-year-old made 18 appearances for United last season.
