Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood is reportedly close to agreeing a deal to join Marseille this summer.
The 22-year-old has returned to Man United after spending the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Spanish club Getafe, where he scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 33 La Liga appearances.
Greenwood joined Getafe after charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm were dropped last year.
Getafe were believed to be interested in re-signing Greenwood on another loan deal, but Man United are keen to secure a permanent sale for their academy graduate.

Marseille close in on Greenwood transfer
A recent report claimed that French side Marseille and Italian club Lazio had submitted offers to sign the Man United man this summer.
It seems that Marseille have the upper hand, with The Times reporting that the Ligue 1 side are close to agreeing a deal with Man United.
The report claims that Marseille are on the verge of reaching an agreement over a £27m move, which would be short of Man United's reported £40m asking price.
While the Red Devils may have compromised on their initial demands, they are expected to include a considerable sell-on fee in the proposed transfer.
A move to Marseille would see Greenwood play under former Brighton & Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi, who was appointed last month after leaving the Seagulls at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Greenwood set to depart after Man United talks
Greenwood has reportedly grown frustrated with the uncertainty surrounding his future and held talks with the club on Monday to establish his next steps.
Man United's technical director Jason Wilcox and sporting director Dan Ashworth had constructive discussions with Greenwood, but they ultimately told him there was no way back into the first-team setup at Old Trafford.
As an academy product, Greenwood's sale would be registered as pure profit, which would help the club meet the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules.
The winger, who joined Man United at the age of six, is seemingly poised to leave the club after scoring 35 goals and providing 12 assists in 129 competitive appearances.
