Watford manager Javi Gracia admits that he is unsure regarding the future of Abdoulaye Doucoure, who has been linked with Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs.

Watford manager Javi Gracia has admitted that he is unsure whether midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure will still be at the club next season.

Doucoure's performances during the current campaign are understood to have piqued the interest of a number of the league's top clubs, with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal all having been linked with the 25-year-old.

The player himself has refused to rule out a move when the transfer window reopens this summer and, despite wanting to keep him at Vicarage Road, Gracia revealed that he is also in the dark as to what the Frenchman's long-term future holds.

"I don't know, I don't know what happens in the future, whether he will sign a new contract or stay with us a long time, I don't know," Gracia told reporters ahead of Sunday's meeting with Arsenal.

"I think he is very happy with the team, the supporters, the club, the city. I think he is very happy. I would like Doucoure to stay with us more time. He is a very good player and he can do better.

"I have tried to explain to him many things that he can improve but at this moment, this season, he is a very good player. He has a very good attitude and helps the team all of the time with a good mentality and attitude."

Doucoure has scored seven goals in his 28 Premier League appearances this season.
