Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen is understood to want answers from the club over his future amid reported interest from Manchester United and Barcelona.

The Danish international has been linked with a move away from the Amsterdam ArenA in recent months, with Russian side Zenit St Petersburg also interested.

The 20-year-old now hopes to ask new Ajax director of football Marc Overmars which club is leading the chase for him, according to The Mirror.

Eriksen signed his first professional contract with the famous Dutch side in 2010 after two years in their youth system.
