David Moyes wants Patrice Evra stay?

Manchester United manager David Moyes tells Patrice Evra that he wants him to stay, according to a report in France.

David Moyes has reportedly told Patrice Evra that he would like him to remain with Manchester United beyond the end of the current campaign.

The French full-back's current deal is due to expire in the summer and he has been heavily linked with free transfers to Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Inter Milan.

However, despite speculation having claimed that Moyes would like to capture Luke Shaw from Southampton as a replacement for the 32-year-old, the United boss would also like Evra to sign a new one-year contract, according to L'Equipe.

Evra joined United back in January 2006 from Monaco.
