Inter Milan: 'Nemanja Vidic will bring experience to club'

Inter Milan president Erick Thohir insists that Nemanja Vidic will bring "experience" to the club ahead of a proposed summer move from Manchester United.

Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has insisted that Nemanja Vidic will bring "experience" to the club if they manage to complete a deal with the Manchester United captain.

Thohir revealed earlier this week that an agreement to bring Vidic to Italy in the summer is "90% done".

"With Vidic we bring experience," Goal.com quotes Thohir as saying. "He is after all Manchester United's captain. In the next few days we will know if it will happen, it would be a great thing. I won't make announcements to ruin the relationship with the club, it will arrive when it's done."

Vidic announced earlier this month that he will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
