Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly prepared to leave the club over their lack of summer transfer activity so far.
The 37-year-old penned a deal with the Red Devils until 2023 following his sensational return from Juventus last summer and was the club's chief goal threat in the most recent season.
Ronaldo struck 24 goals in 38 games across all tournaments under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, including 18 strikes and three assists from 30 Premier League outings.
However, Ronaldo's efforts could only help the Red Devils to a sixth-placed finish in the top flight, and he is about to enter the final year of his contract with the club, who do have the option of an additional 12 months.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner had previously hinted that he was ready to stay and was looking forward to working under new manager Erik ten Hag, who will lead Man United into the Europa League next term.

"I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach. But we have to give him time," Ronaldo told Man United's social media channels.
"Things must change the way he wants. If he does well, all of Manchester United will be successful, so I wish him well. We are all happy and excited, not only as players, but as fans as well. We have to believe that next year we can win titles."
However, Portuguese outlet Record states that Ronaldo will not hesitate to leave Man United for a second time if club chiefs fail to act properly in the current transfer window.
The report adds that the former Real Madrid and Juventus man has issued an ultimatum to the powers-that-be, who must 'up their game' in the transfer market or risk losing him in the coming weeks.
Ronaldo has supposedly informed his close contacts of his stance after previous reports had indicated that he was growing concerned about Man United's strategy in the transfer market.
The Portugal international has now amassed 142 goals and 71 assists in 330 appearances for Man United during his two spells at the club, but it remains to be seen what clubs could afford Ronaldo's transfer and wages should he depart.

Man United are yet to make a summer signing under Ten Hag, who has already lost out on the signatures of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Vieira to Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.
Ajax centre-back Jurrien Timber is also said to have snubbed a move to Old Trafford after heeding a warning from Louis van Gaal, but the Red Devils remain in discussions with Barcelona over a deal for Frenkie de Jong.
The 20-time English champions are understood to be preparing an improved offer for the 25-year-old, but it may still fall short of Barcelona's €85m (£72.9m) asking price.
Brentford's Christian Eriksen is weighing up his options amid rumours of interest from the Theatre of Dreams, while Antony's agent are allegedly pushing for the Ajax attacker to reunite with Ten Hag at Man United.
Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Lee Grant, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata have all left the club this summer, and they could soon be joined by Dean Henderson, who is edging closer to a loan move to Nottingham Forest.
Following his second departure from the club as a free agent, Pogba is now thought to be on the brink of re-signing for Juventus, six years after leaving the Old Lady to return to Manchester.
