Chelsea are reportedly preparing to battle Manchester United for the signature of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot during this summer's transfer window.
Jorginho and N'Golo Kante are both out of contract at Stamford Bridge next June, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding their futures in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be on his way out of the Blues this summer amid interest from a number of Serie A clubs.
Rabiot's future has been the subject of speculation of late, with Man United believed to be keen to bring him to the Premier League during this summer's transfer window.
However, according to L'Equipe, there is also interest from Chelsea, with the Blues ready to explore the possibility of signing the Frenchman in the current market.

The report claims that Juventus would be willing to accept between £13m and £17m for the midfielder, as he is surplus to requirements at the club this summer.
Rabiot was an important player for the Old Lady during the 2021-22 campaign, making 45 appearances in all competitions, contributing two assists in the process.
Meanwhile, he has scored six times and registered six assists in 129 appearances for the Turin giants since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2019.
Paul Pogba is set to arrive at Juventus on a free transfer this summer, though, and Rabiot has reportedly been told that he will not be a first-team regular next term.
Newcastle United are also said to be showing an interest in the Frenchman, with the Magpies now possessing the financial power to compete with the world's biggest clubs for players.

Chelsea had been strongly linked with Aurelien Tchouameni, but the club's off-the-field problems saw them lose ground in the race for the Monaco midfielder, who has now joined Real Madrid.
The Blues are also preparing to allow Romelu Lukaku to return on loan to Inter Milan for the 2022-23 campaign, with Raheem Sterling said to be a leading target for Thomas Tuchel's side.
Sterling's contract at Manchester City is due to expire next summer, and it has been claimed that he could be available for around £55m during this summer's transfer window.
Chelsea will begin their 2022-23 Premier League season away to Frank Lampard's Everton on August 6 before welcoming Tottenham Hotspur to Stamford Bridge for a London derby on August 13.
