Chelsea have reportedly been informed of Inter Milan's asking price for Denzel Dumfries.
The Dutchman was previously linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, but the transfer never materialised.
After remaining with Inter, Dumfries has gone on to make 20 appearances for the club this season, contributing with two goals and three assists.
Despite being a regular feature in Inter's side this term, the full-back continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League amid interest from Chelsea.
According to football.london, the Blues have been informed that Inter have set an asking price in the region of €60m (£50m) in a bid to ward off potential suitors.
However, the report claims that the Italian giants are open to a sale due to the club's financial situation, and Chelsea may consider an offer after identifying Dumfries as a potential backup for Reece James, who is currently recovering from injury.
The Blues could face competition for the defender's signature after Tottenham Hotspur were previously rumoured to be interested in the right-back.
Dumfries is currently representing the Netherlands at the World Cup, where he has started all three group games.
