Birmingham City have signed Manchester United attacker Tahith Chong on a four-year contract.
The 22-year-old represented the Blues on loan during the 2021-22 campaign, making 20 appearances, contributing one goal and three assists in the process.
Chong was involved in Man United's preparations for the 2022-23 season, but he has now been allowed to leave the 20-time English champions on a permanent basis in search of regular action.
"I am excited to be back. Especially after last season, I have always felt Birmingham City had been my second home," Chong told BluesTV. "It's nice because I came in, I know everyone already.
"Seeing familiar faces. Everyone at the club, the staff, the players and the fans - everyone made me feel so welcome, a family club. I feel ready to go. I am very excited to get going. It's great to be back."
Chong joined Man United from Feyenoord in 2016, spending three years in the youth system before making his first-team debut in 2019.
The former Netherlands Under-21s international has been unable to make the breakthrough at Old Trafford, though, spending time out on loan with Werder Bremen and Club Brugge before moving to Birmingham for the 2021-22 campaign.
