Bayern Munich have reportedly prepared a bid for Atalanta BC's Rasmus Hojlund, with Manchester United also said to be keeping tabs on the player.
Hojlund has been one of the revelations in Italian football this season, especially since the new year, as the Dane has scored seven goals in 2023 for Atalanta.
The attacker is also currently the top scorer in Euro 2024 qualifying with five goals in just two games, after a hat-trick against Finland, and a further two in Denmark's shock 3-2 defeat in Kazakhstan.
TuttoAtalanta claim that the German giants are readying a €50m (£44m) bid for the 20-year-old, but with Atalanta in the race for the Champions League, La Dea believe that could be enough to convince Hojlund to stay in Bergamo a little longer.
Atalanta are just two points off the top four in Serie A, and qualification for the Champions League could raise Hojlund's value even further.
After Robert Lewandowski's exit last summer, Bayern have used Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting as their first-choice striker this season to great effect, as the Cameroonian has 17 goals in all competitions.
However, with Choupo-Moting entering his mid-30s, new manager Thomas Tuchel may look to add additional firepower up front for next season, with options limited behind him.
