Barcelona could make a shock move for Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison, according to The Star.
The United teenager, 18, has failed to agree a new contract at the club despite his current deal expiring in the summer and Barca coach Pep Guardiola is understood to be monitoring developments.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rejected a bid from Newcastle last week for the player, who has been touted as the best natural talent to emerge through the club's ranks since Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.
A source stated: "Some of the biggest clubs in Europe have shown genuine interest in him, including Barcelona, so it will be interesting to see what happens. He isn't short of options."
Morrison has made three appearances for the United first team.
