Barcelona have reportedly only made one contract offer to central defender Ronald Araujo.
The Uruguay international has been a key player for the Catalan giants during the 2021-22 campaign, making 33 appearances in all competitions, contributing four goals in the process.
Araujo's current deal is due to expire in June 2023, though, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all believed to be keen to sign the 23-year-old during this summer's transfer window.
Barcelona boss Xavi remains "optimistic" that the South American will sign a new deal, but a recent report claimed that Man United are planning to test the waters with a 'high transfer offer'.
According to Sport, Araujo has only received one contract offer from the Catalan giants, which was rejected, with the two parties far apart in terms of their demands.
The report claims that there will be more contract talks next week, and the defender is keen to remain at Camp Nou despite the offer of more money elsewhere.
Araujo has made 72 appearances for Barcelona since arriving from Boston River in 2018, scoring six goals and registering one assist in the process.
