Atletico Madrid have reportedly offered Edinson Cavani a two-year contract worth £20m as they attempt to win the race for the Paris Saint-Germain centre-forward.
Cavani is expected to leave the French champions when his contract expires at the end of June and a number of clubs have been linked with his services.
Both Manchester United and Newcastle United are allegedly prepared to pay the 33-year-old big money to move to the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico are hoping to win the race for the Uruguay international.
The report claims that Diego Simeone's side have offered Cavani a two-year contract worth £10m a season to move to the Wanda Metropolitano this summer.
The South American is PSG's all-time leading goalscorer with 200 in 301 games since joining the French giants from Napoli ahead of the 2012-13 campaign.
