Arsenal have turned down the opportunity to sign ex-Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic, according to reports.
The 33-year-old left Old Trafford in the summer to sign a three-year deal with Italian giants Inter Milan, but is said to have fallen out of favour with new Nerazzurri manager Roberto Mancini.
According to The Sun on Sunday, Arsenal were offered the chance to sign Vidic last week to help ease their defensive problems, but Wenger decided to stick with his current squad or look elsewhere in January.
The Gunners currently sit seventh in the Premier League table, 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.
