Arsenal have re-opened talks to sign young French striker M'Baye Niang from Caen.
The 17-year-old impressed the Gunners during a trial earlier this month, with Arsene Wenger keen to add Niang to his squad.
According to the Metro, Arsenal failed with a bid earlier this month, but have begun negotiations with Caen once again as they look to tie up the deal.
Niang is a France Under-21 international who has attracted the attention of a host of top European clubs including Manchester United and AC Milan.
The Gunners will have to offload a number of forwards to make room for Niang to develop if he moves to north London, including Nicklas Bendnter and Park Chu-Young.
