Manchester United midfielder Anderson reveals that he would only consider a return to Portugal if he were able to join former club Porto.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has admitted that he would be open to a return to his former club Porto.

Anderson has failed to hold down a regular starting place in United's midfield this season, and with his future at Old Trafford in doubt, the Brazilian international has revealed that Porto would provide an attractive option should he leave England.

The 24-year-old told A Bola: "I can say that Porto are the only club where I could think of going if I returned to Portugal.

"My past is there, and that is where my roots are."

After beginning his career at Gremio, Anderson joined Porto in 2007, before signing for United two years later.
