Agent: 'Three big clubs in for Neymar'

Neymar's agent Wagner Ribeiro claims that there are three clubs willing to activate the Barcelona forward's release clause of £157m.

Three clubs are prepared to activate Neymar's release clause at Barcelona, according to the forward's agent.

Neymar, 24, moved to Camp Nou from Santos in 2013 and has scored 85 times in 141 appearances for the Spanish giants, including 31 in 49 matches during the 2015-16 campaign.

The Brazilian only has two years left on his current contract, however, and talks over a fresh deal have stalled as the forward seeks parity with Lionel Messi in terms of wage.

According to Neymar's agent Wagner Ribeiro, "three big clubs" are prepared to pay his release clause of £157m and it is believed that Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the teams in question.

"There are three big clubs in the world that want to sign Neymar and pay a clause of [approximately] €200m to Barcelona," Ribeiro told Radio Jovem Pan. "I cannot say more than this because it is confidential. I can only guarantee that Neymar is happy in Barcelona."

Since arriving in Spain off the back of 10 years with Santos, Neymar has won two La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and the Champions League.
