The agent of Kevin Strootman has played down suggestions that the Dutchman could leave Roma.
The midfielder only joined the Italian outfit from PSV Eindhoven in the summer, but his form has attracted the interest of Manchester United, who are believed to be preparing a January move.
However, Chiel Dekker has insisted that his client is "very happy in Rome" and therefore unlikely to seek pastures new at this stage of his career.
"Kevin is very happy in Rome and his intention is to stay here for a long time," Dekker told Sky Sports News.
"They have started a project and a new team and he has adapted well to his new club."
Strootman is reported to be one of a number of January targets for United, who have struggled in the Premier League this season.
