The agent of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has claimed that Manchester United are not at the top of the list to sign the England international this summer.
The attacker remained at Villa Park for the 2020-21 campaign despite reported interest from Man United and Manchester City, both of whom are expected to reignite their pursuits this summer.
Grealish committed his future to Dean Smith's side until the summer of 2025 last year, though, and his agent Jonathan Barnett has revealed that he could yet remain at Villa for the 2021-22 season.
Speaking to SNTV, the 71-year-old said: "The truth is we don't know [what will happen]. There are many clubs [interested] and I wouldn't put Manchester United at the top of that [list].
"But he could stay. He could stay as well so it's a conversation the club, Aston Villa, will have with Jack and ourselves then we'll see where we go."
Grealish has scored six goals and set up 12 more in 22 Premier League appearances this season, but he has missed Villa's last 12 top-flight matches with a shin injury.
