Team News: Angel di Maria makes Manchester United debut

Louis van Gaal hands a debut to Manchester United's club-record signing Angel di Maria away at Burnley.

Angel di Maria will make his first appearance in a Manchester United shirt during this afternoon's Premier League clash away at Burnley.

The Argentine, who arrived at United from Real Madrid for £59.7m earlier this week, will start as a part of midfield that also includes Juan Mata and Darren Fletcher.

Elsewhere, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia have retained their places at wing-back, while Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie will continue their partnership up front.

The hosting Clarets are unchanged, which means that Lukas Jutkiewicz will continue to play up front alongside last season's leading goalscorer Danny Ings.

Burley: Heaton; Trippier, Duff, Shackell, Mee; Arfield, Jones, Marney, Taylor; Ings, Jutkiewicz

Man United: De Gea; Jones, Evans, Blackett; Valencia, Young; Fletcher, Di Maria, Mata; Rooney, Van Persie
